CommunyChat

Terms of Service

Effective from: 2026-09-19

These terms govern your use of CommunyChat, operated by Karobyte Teknoloji Çözümleri ("we"). By creating an account you accept them.

1. The service

CommunyChat is a collaboration platform for teams: chat channels, direct messages, voice and video calls, screen sharing, meeting, event and stream channels, a shared file space, a spreadsheet and document editor, an internal feed and polls.

It is delivered through a web browser. No physical goods are shipped.

Features continue to be developed. If we remove or materially change one that affects your paid plan, we tell you in advance.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the security of your account. Do not share your password; we recommend turning on two-step verification.

You are responsible for what is done with your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, tell us at info@karobyte.com immediately.

A workspace owner manages the access and the subscription of the members in it. Content added to a workspace can be seen and managed by that workspace's administrators.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the service for unlawful purposes, in ways that infringe the rights of others, or in ways that disrupt its operation.

Prohibited: attempting unauthorised access, distributing malware, unsolicited bulk messaging, copyright infringement, hate speech and harassment, impersonation, and placing excessive load through automated tools.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. A suspension does not remove your right to a refund for a paid period — see the Refund Policy.

4. Your content

The messages, files and other content you upload are YOURS. We claim no ownership of them.

To provide the service you allow us to store, transmit and display your content. That permission exists only to operate the service: we do not use your content for advertising, as training data, or for any other purpose.

When you close your account your content is deleted; the detail is in the retention section of the Privacy Policy.

5. Subscription and payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, per seat. A free plan is also available.

Payments are taken by Paddle.com Market Ltd., which is the Merchant of Record for the sale: it issues the invoice and calculates and remits the applicable VAT. Your card details never reach us.

A subscription renews at the end of each period until you cancel. When you cancel, your access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.

We may change prices. A change applies from your next renewal and is announced at least 30 days beforehand.

6. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect loss. In any case our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

This limit does not affect rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time.

We may close your account for a serious breach of these terms. We give notice where we can; where there is a security reason, notice follows afterwards.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. For a material change we notify you by e-mail at least 30 days before it takes effect.

These terms are governed by the law of Türkiye Cumhuriyeti and the courts of İstanbul have jurisdiction.

IF YOU ARE A CONSUMER THIS CHOICE DOES NOT LEAVE YOU UNPROTECTED: for consumers habitually resident in the European Union, Rome I art.6 preserves the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your own country, and your right to bring proceedings in its courts is unaffected.
